Other process industries
Nothing in the architecture is specific to mining. The platform controls continuous processes with delays, interacting units and constraints that move. That describes a concentrator, and it describes a great many plants that are not concentrators.
Where it should transfer
The platform suits a process where the measurements exist, the plant runs continuously, the response to a control action is delayed, and the binding constraint moves with feedstock or equipment condition. Smelting, chemicals, cement and pulp all fit that description. So does any plant where operators routinely hold back from a limit because the process is hard to predict close to it.
Where it is proven
Mining is where this platform has been run in closed loop and measured, and we would rather say so than imply a track record we cannot show you.
If your process is not a concentrator
Tell us what the plant does, what limits it, and what you already measure. If the fit is poor we will say so: a data assessment that concludes there is nothing worth doing is a cheaper answer than a pilot that proves it.
