Privacy policy
How Conundrum Industrial Ltd collects, uses, stores and shares personal data, and the rights you have over it.
Who controls your data
Conundrum Industrial Ltd is the data controller. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 11540644, with a registered office at C/O Mishcon De Reya, Four Station Square, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, CB1 2GE. You can reach us at support@conundrum.ai, or through the contact page.
What we collect
We collect only two kinds of personal data.
What you send us. When you request an assessment or contact us, we receive your name, work email address, employer, the plant or site you are asking about, your role, the circuits you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field. A phone number is optional. We also record which page the form was sent from and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through, so that we know where an enquiry came from.
How the site is used, if you agree. If you accept analytics cookies we collect page views, approximate location at country level, device and browser type, and a record of interactions such as which pages are read and which buttons are used. If you do not accept, none of this is collected. See the cookie policy for the detail.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send us to reply to you and to assess whether our platform suits your plant. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted us about a commercial matter and expect a reply. If you tick the marketing consent box we may also send you occasional updates, on the basis of your consent, and you can withdraw that at any time.
We use analytics to understand which parts of the site are read and where they fall short. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie banner and can change at any time.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes. It is handled on our behalf by the service providers that run the site: a form delivery service that passes your enquiry to our inbox, a hosting provider inside the European Union, and, only where you have consented, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
Some of those providers are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the United Kingdom. Those transfers rely on the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial conversation is live and for three years afterwards, so that we have a record of what was discussed. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months. Marketing consent records are kept for as long as the consent stands and for two years after it is withdrawn.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting anything done before you did.
Ask at support@conundrum.ai, or through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the United Kingdom's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date below. This version is dated 30 September 2026.
